Details
Cooper 998cc A series cylinder head with bypass adaptor tube (12A2075) by the experts at Mini Sport.
We will require your original Cooper cylinder head unit to recondition as the old units are very difficult to get hold of.
Fully reconditioned to original specifcations, painted with the choice of 4 colours and delivered ready to fit.
The water bypass hose circulates cooler water to the thermostat, allowing the heater to warm up faster, perfect for those cold winter mornings!
Reconditioning Process
Each head is carefully selected and thoroughly checked before being cleaned and any defective parts discarded.
All heads are then refaced and fitted with new “Unleaded” valve seats, new valve guides, new valve stem seals, and new valve springs.
Finally each head is tested, inspected and painted, so that when you receive your Mini Sport reconditioned cylinder head you have our “quality assurance”.
