Wet Method:

This is the easier way and will give the best finished results. Using a spray bottle, mix water with a small amount of washing up liquid (one squirt). After that, spray on cleaned surface covering the area where the stripe is to be placed. Remove paper backing and place stripe over the wetted area. Using a soft cloth start to smooth out the stripe forcing the water out from underneath and leaving a smooth even surface. Ensure when done that the stripe is positioned correctly before it starts to dry. After that, repeat on the opposite side. Once complete, leave for 24 hours before applying Signatures or driving the vehicle.

Dry Method:

Align stipe in correct position. Peel back tab at the top of the stripe, this is the top edge of the bonnet. The stripe should be positioned just a few millimetres from both bonnet edges. Allow just a small area to become stuck down onto the paint surface and check that the stripe is running along the bonnet edge in parallel to all edges. If all is good start to peel back the backing paper and smoothing out the stripe using a soft cloth ensuring that no air is trapped between the stripe and the surface of the bonnet. However, a squeegee can be used to push out air bubbles when applying. Make sure the squeegee has a flat edge to avoid scratching the stripe. Repeat on the opposite side. Leave for 24 hours to cure before adding signatures.
